all r correct..mumps is an uncommomn cause, gallstone is a cause, blodd sugar will increase, severe resp symptoms cn occur, hyperca is a well documented cause

guys i think they forgot EXCEPT in that q then hypercalcemia will be the answer as only hypo will occur as a sequel to AP (<2 mmol is one of the ransons criteria)
becos
mumps is an uncommon cause...... gallstones are associated with it......hyperglycemia (>10mmol is again a ransons criteria)......and it can cause resp distress by both pl. effusion and by ARDS which is recog complication of acute severe pancreatitis
