i have heard that passing MRCP 2 is almost impossible unless u get the training in uk. is it true?do plz guide me if anbody has any idea about it icon_question.gif

No you don't have to train in England especially if you are appearing in a centre outside UK. Get trained by people who have done MRCP recently or who are currently involved in MRCP teaching. The other option is to attend a good MRCP PACES course. You can attend such a course in England which would be quiote expensive or I would recommend EXCELPACES a course which is being organised in Trivandrum, Kerala for 3 days on 5,6 and 7 October 2008. There are 12 Senior teachers from UK, Middle East and India involved in the teaching and I can guarantee that it would be very useful and cheap compared to other courses. All the best

You don't need training in UK to pass MRCP -II theory. For Paces I feel having UK experience is a bonus, since the way they speak with patients in UK is different from the approach we in India.
