Quick Scroll Being Pathologist 06.18.08 (6 months ago) #1

Within three minutes of entering the lab of department of Pathology i realised a truth–Pathology is hard. Fascinating, certainly. Varied, yes. Vast, sure. But above all, hard. I sat on my first day, my head swimming from looking down the microscope and not understanding what I saw, and felt truly hopeless.I thought hard, but remnants of Pathology knowledge are not enough to understand the slides. Seniors started to show me entities but due to the almost total lack of histology from many an undergraduate medical student's timetable, I was starting from scratch. Painstakingly I peered down to eyepieces of a pentahead in a class at parasites, eggs, etc etc . I marvelled at how the others seemed to know what was going on, and despaired that I ever would. I spent the day looking AT microscope and it parts while a book of parasitology lay open in front of me. That truth quickly realised, however, was constantly confirmed to me: Pathology is hard.

it all depends on ur thinking
Pathology is excellent branch
it is enjoyable like art & music, when u see under microscope
yes, it requires regular hard work,
but every branch requires it
Pathology itself is not hard.

today i also saw some SBC. (strange blood cells).
the resident blasted on me. target ur vision on target cells.
i went to lab at 9:00 am and hopped for canteen every one hour. what a coincidence that canteen is near to patho dep. or i can say other way, patho department is near the canteen
ha ha ha
i almost fell laughing.
yess Girls!!!!
harshad comes to point pretty soon.
well, i am submerged in ocean of pathological girls. (oops!! dunno whether its right word or not.) how can a girl opt for Patho and not for gyne.
there are many girls and few of them are pretty too.!!! (especially seniors)
