are you just pass out or are still doing your MS.if your just pass out then your surgery knowledge is going to be fresh so keep it aside for a few months.start with 1st year subjects,please read theory go over textbooks.where i missed out was not reading text books or i would have secured a higher rank.just flip through them covering the important points.you must read ashsish gupta and mudit khanna for all india and AIIMS papers.just read 2001 -2008 papers no need to read to go over earlier papers.you can read pulse or Salgunan ,i would suggest pulse.you must finish three readings of question banks so you have to be quick and try go over theory at least twice.solve a few papers keeps you aware of where you stand.dont you dare ignore theory of surgery.you must go over surgery theory at least 3 times no matter how bored you are.the key is to finish revisions fast and nice.dont count on the month of may,you must give atleast 4 exams before Maharashtra to get a hang of it.month of may is for travelling and giving exams.try and give DNB exam in december helps ou revise surgery theory.hope this helps you out.1st reading should be finished by december end including all ? banks ,pulse and SURGERY theory.
