Quick Scroll Australian Student Visa Processing Time 07.04.06 (2 years ago) #1

Hello,

I found these site while browsing net, it is very informative. But no where i found the application processing times, for student visa. I have lodge my application for student visa, before three months of course commencement date for july '06 intake, but still i have not heard about my PVA. Can anyone tell me what could have been the reason for delay or are there any changes in procedure. What do i do next to save my july intake otherwise i would miss my july intake and will have to go in november.

Please, provide me with some guideline. The overall process has just lived me hanging out......!!! icon_sad.gif

Hi Rahul,

Visa processing time for a student visa will take at least 2 months, but may be longer. Processing may be delayed if requirements for the application of a student visa are not met/incomplete. I would suggest you to contact the Australian embassy from where you lodged your application regarding the status of your application.

Kind regards.

Quick Scroll Contacted Embassy 07.05.06 (2 years ago) #3

Helloo,

NIC, I have already contacted the embassy via E mail and also fax them but no one is replying there...I dont know why are they not answering ......One possible reason which i guess is the rush for July intake... But then also, in my case they are delaying which is quite uncommon...

Shall, I personally go to Delhi.. Tell me is there any other sources from where I can get fruitful reply .......

I dont know what to do... My college is now creating a problem that they would not issue me a COE for july intake...

Iam really very upset....... icon_cry.gif

Contacting the embassy would be the only way to know the status of your application. I would suggest you to personally call them up (not by facsimile or email as they may be bound to answer it after quite a while). I would also suggest that you try making an appointment with them to ask them the status of your visa. Also coordinate with your college, cos I think in order to be issued a student visa, the college needs to give you a letter to send to them that you are enrolled/accepted for the course. (BTW what's COE?)

I hope everything goes well for you.

Quick Scroll COE : Confirmation Of Enrolment 07.06.06 (2 years ago) #5

Hie,

COE is Confirmation Of Enrolment, which a college issues after payment of fees. A COE is then to be submitted to VISA Office for further processing. Only after then a stamping in passport is done. There are two copies of COE is issued by the college, one to the applicant by mail and another to the DIMIA office. COE to the DIMIA is sended electronically.

Bye,

Thank You, For taking interest in me....!!! icon_smile.gif

Quick Scroll File Tracking 07.09.06 (2 years ago) #6

Hello there,

I wanna know, is there any facility for applicants who can track their current file status. Well those who have applied for E-Visa, can know there application status. Students who have applied by paper visa, have there file number; so is their any such system by which they can know there current file processing status.

Tell me if you have any such updates,

Regards... icon_smile.gif

Sorry there is no such system for non-online applications. The only way to know the status of your application is to inquire directly with the Australian Immigration/embassy in your country where you have lodged your application.

Regards.
