Age old >>> Farquarharson/ Dudley (Atlas)
For abdo I think reading Maingot would be best specially the older edition as the new one has ommited a lot of important stuff.

What all books you have gone through till now?? Is is better to read Baily first then move on to Sabiston/Schwartz then Speciality book or straight away go for speciality and read Sabiston/Baily in final yr??

Read Baily throughly, master it, it is up to u how u gonna go anout it ie to read Sabiston/Scjwartz first or Baily or both simultaneously. I have GRAY'S Anatomy for students as my Anatomy reference, it is Lucid book with very good Diagrams and Figures.
Do drop in your comments. What all have u done till now??
I think for house like us we need to master FLUID AND ELECTROLYTES NUTRITION AND VERY BASIC Surgery first.
