It looks great...
What did you use to get the snapshot? used the snapshot tool or the print-scr button in the keyboard?

Downgraded to ubuntu gutsy gibbon after royally messing with some unsupported kernel udpates! I felt the time needed to re-compile the new unsupported kernel might be too tasking and hence I just re-installed the old gutsy gibbon again.
I had my /home folder set in a different partition and hence no data was lost and I just had to do some small tweaking and I had my old files and desktop with almost all settings intact without much ado. With conventional installation unless one had selected to have my root folder elsewhere, It gets installed in /home/<username> and if there is a need to format the installation partition the data gets lost unless backed up!
For those who had already installed it conventionally you can still make the changes to have your home folder in different partition. There are methods for it and if someone is really particular to know it, I could give the instructions here, if needed when I have the time.
I should't have been here so long and I need to leave... Good day and happy linuxing!

One last post before I go offline for this session:
A tip for those installing from Live CD. PLUG OUT the broadband connection since if internet is connected the LIVE CD by default tries to connect to mirror and download updates to install etc; In some old/slow systems it might just hang at that point (at around 81/82 % in some with the message under progres bar ... "connecting to mirror" or something similar...
The moment you unplug the broadband it will give a pop up warning saying it was unable to connect to mirror. Choosing "OK" will NOT do any harm and the installation will proceed to completion without issues. Updates if needed can be installed at a later time using synaptic or the update manager.

Got a free ubuntu cd last mth. Installed it using WUBI, i was amazed at the speedy & error free installation(had read so much abt errors in installation a common occurence in linux ). best thing abt it was, it installed like a common windows program & u can easily remove it using add/remove programs. Used it for a few days, downloaded lots of updates and free games. Was happy with the level of functionality it provide d for free.
Unfortunately after updating to .22 version of kernel, system began to get unstable, programs crashed frequently. Especially the game i liked most BATTLE FOR WESNOTH gave me a strange error. It began to stop at step 6 in one of the campaigns where i had reached far. Tried all fixes, contacted community but found no solutions, so i gave up removed it & returned to my vista. Now i ' ve got battle for wesnoth on vista working wonderfully.
Gonna try mac os leopard soon......
