Am planning to buy a digicam .......ne1 ne idea which i shud opt for?I am planning for smethg with 7/more Mega pixel and want a gud battery performance.
Please feel free to advise me what shud i opt for.

7 mega pixels???????? sorry but I would not advice that. With it you would need a computer with a hard disk of 200 GB to store all the photos then. I would say anything between 3.2 to 5 is enough for normal use. 7 megapixel sounds cool but is good only if you want to use the camera for professional photography. Moreover, you wont be able to mail most of the photographs or store it on websites as the file size will be extremely big for 7 mega pixels.

You can look for canon range, looks good. Buy one with weather proof features and night mode enabled. If you don't have these two things, half of your photography experience will be ruined (victim speak).

i have used casio z250 , 5.1 mp...

the battery performance is excellent...upto 390 pics in ago without recharging it...u can check more at dpreviewdotcom..
