Quick Scroll Swiss passport & biometrics 07.25.08 (5 months ago) #1

I'm a swiss citizen who needs to renew my swiss passport. I have two options to choose from. A regular passport for 10 years ($126) or a biometric passport for 5 years ($263). Do I need a biometric passport to come into the UK now? I know if I use my swiss passport to get into the USA I need a biometric one, however, I am also an Australian citizen so I don't have to worry about that factor.

On top of this, my husband who is Australian, may also like to work in the UK if we go over. He is no longer able to apply for a work visa. Does anyone know what I have to do to get him a spouse visa? I know that even though Switzerland isn't part of the EU we still have an agreement with the UK which gives us the same rights and benefits a EU citizens.

Cheers
