wel i disagree with stress fracture as stress fracture bilaterally is uncommon. if it was unilateral then definately stress fracture. here i would go by Burgeur's disease.
had their been a choice of chronic compartment syndrome, it would had been the best answer.

their is a term called march fracture which is seen in army personal having stress # of the 2/3 metatarsal, so thn their would be pain of foot.

other bones for stress # -

neck of femur, base of 5th metatarsal, lower end of tibia,

well, i should admit that this is a common mcq question. and the hint is army patient which is commonly associated with stress fracture. with very extensive training, stress fracture can develop easily.
