they try to refine as less as possible to give seat for the first 200 immigrant doctor who pass the concrete barreir (evaluation exam and quslification exam) from total immigrant docrors around more than 2000.moreover the staff who ar working in medical feild are look to immigrant doctor as lower than canadian doctors so they inssault immigrant doctor who apply for a jop in hospital by either no contact him or give him job which far away from his feild.for example.
I WENT TO CEVIC HOSPITAL LAST WEEK AND I ASKED THE HUMAN RESOURSES about the apportunity to get job in hospital and told them my background as i worked in family doctor and in emergency medicine in my back home and dropped off my resume and all certification of my diploma in medicine,after she looked to all document told me the lady we have one position to you sir.then she told me we have a porter position in hospital we need ,if you are interested we will call soon to get the job as a porter. immagine that after looked to my certificate told me porter wjy? because just want t oinssult me.
for this reason i decide to be amateuor in this site and i stopped for applying doing any exam because the canadian people they dont need my service as a doctor so i dont need to give my service too
to the canadian patient. so i plan to move to usa to do <a href="http://www.rxpgonline.com/forum5.html">USMLE
</a>
exam may be i have apportunity to be a docotr there.
other thing that to show you evidence that a racisim in making a law to be a doctor in <a href="http://www.rxpgonline.com/forum46.html">Canada
</a>
is that when i applied to be a nurse in a college in ottawa and i showed them my document as i was a physician in my back home they told me in regitarar's office i must do english test to get a seat in this college ,immagine that i was a doctor and showed them my diploma in medicine and my study in english was started since i have been in primary school and i was gratuated since 1984 and all my study in english in addition to that i was in <a href="http://www.rxpgonline.com/forum46.html">Canada
</a>
for 7years then asked me to do english test
after i did the test gave me 50 multiple choice questions in 35 minutes as a comprehension and other 50 questions as vocabulary which i never heard of them in my life even in my study english books all in 15 minutes and part 111 gave me 50 questions in grammar in 35 minutes when i passed in all parts only in grammer i failed(i got 10 out of 12 in comprehension,and 7 out of 12 in vocabulary ,and i got 5 out of 12 in grammer ,and i got 12 out of 12 in matth and i got 10 out of 12 in skills ) told me i failed in grammer and i was not elegible to get a seat to be a nurse.
Conclusion: continue to read bec we are already doctors but try to find other place out side <a href="http://www.rxpgonline.com/forum46.html">Canada
</a>
to practice medicine and find other job other than physician if you stay in <a href="http://www.rxpgonline.com/forum46.html">Canada
</a>

So sorry to hear your experience. its really been tough. I think you should give this english test another try. it shd be easy....... dnt worry i am sure you will make it next time.

wow..pretty bleak picture here...i just heard from a friend that there is shortage of doctros in Canada
and 'this is the best time for docs to come to Canada
' and imigrations are given easily nowadays.
so i come here to check it out ...and see this..
i guess cancada is good only for doctors who r ready to practise not for learning and all like US residency

Depends on the training background...... if the training is recognized by the provincial college of physicians then you might be able to ........ GL

[size=18][b]hey i am a new member.. .. i ll graduate in feb 2009 .. is this really true?.. wut if a person had high scores .. but i am sure many of these ppl did have a good score.. no seats?.. i am looking for smth good.. n the only reason i thought of this was as my dad is there and i have canadian pr ship .. but if there r no sucess stories is it worth the risk.. is it better /more advisable to try in US ?[/size][/b]
