Hello. My interests are in Surgery. I have done my internship in General surgery for 6 months and now i will be doing 2 months internship in General medicine. Kindly advice me which topics and skills should i read and try to learn during my internship in medicine.

build ur reflexes ! ... work e M 4 services .. it might be hectic initially but if u survive these 2 mnths ,ull have medicine @ ur finger tips !!!

Plz dont do the mere clerkship, but try to do "the thinking thing",after u learn the basics.
i mean to say u should understand deeply why a pt is being monitored for say urine output, & another for BP,if u start reasoning correctly at this stage,ull do well in both med & surg

choose a nice training place...thats the most important

and the next comes your attitude.....a person with an open mind....open to both questions and criticism

remember that the majority of seniors are helpful, and guide. so dont take all the sarcasm as discouraging......if u know what i am talking about
