BCCI asks Kirsten to shut up !!!
After his comments abt MS, in which GK said that MS(Dhoni) is truly an amazing captain & has led the team extremely well in the shorter version of the game & that he was ready for test captaincy too.....
so was Kumble who is still ready to slog ,, has done a gr8 job as well...but their styles are pretty diff.....& age is against Kumble !!!
for sayin this Kirsten was snubbed by BCCI gen secretary Niranjan Shah & was advised not to talk about any issues relating to the selection of Team Captain/captaincy...
Now.. Ur thoughts plz........
was G.Kirsten rite in airing his views abt the Indian captaincy ...
was N. Shah rite in snubbin GK for his comments.....
What do you feel???

Cricket Australia
punishes Symmo...
Symmo to miss India tour......
Symmo still to get all the money !!
well...well... well........ bhajji & trouble never seem to leave Symmo...
The 'grudge-holding' queenslander was in the midst of a raging controversy earlier this yr for the racist allegations he made against mercurial Indian offie Harbhajan Singh...
Later, he smashed the daylights out of a streaker who meant no harm to him.....
He even challenged a South African rugby star for a physical combat!!(thank goodness the south african dint oblige or else Symmo wudnt have cum out in 1 piece )
Apart fr this,Once Symmo also tried to take on a news reporter in a bar..
## All this, when you're playin for the national team & representing the country!!!!!
Being one of the most destructive batsman & hardest hitters of the ball today. lot is expected of a batsman of Symmo's class.....so
CA again acts smart by protecting its 'future' (read Symmo)....by not playin him for the India series & still payin him his retainership fee!!!
Just a simple ques fr you today--
Is symmo really a bad boy & duz he needs to be disciplined???

Recently came across this article.....
there is one offie in fr Rajasthan
or dont really know where by the name 'Mohnish' who bowls wt an action very similar to Murali's !!
..now the news is that the local cricket asso arent willing to take him just to avoid any kinda controversy.
Are we being FAIR to 'Mohnish'
&
Could he be a match winner for India like Murali has been for Sri Lanka all these years?
would be glad if sum1 cud post more details abt this.....

I think he needs to be disciplined and Cricket Australia
seems to be doing just that although a total suspension seems too harsh to me:
"In a clear indication that Cricket Australia
is looking at life beyond Symonds, the CA chief executive said Symonds may have well be "lost to the team" but asserted there are plenty of quality players who can fill the void. " from the toi.

That's plain stupid if you ask me. He should be given a chance.
I don't know if this is the guy you are talking about, but managed to find this article about a similar guy . He's from Gujarat
.
"Doosra Murali in the making
Promising offie Parmar has all Murali crafts, already making heads turn
Ahmedabad, May 11 : The same bowling run-up, the same delivery stance, and the same follow-through. Bowling at the West Zone under-19 camp nets, Mohnish Parmar can easily be termed a Muttiah Muralitharan clone. Like the Islander, the Gandhinagar-based offie can send down flippers, faster ones, loop deliveries, turn the ball by yards, and can also bowl the doosra.
He is a special kid. Very promising. He can turn the ball on any surface. He uses his wrist before releasing the ball from his fingers, thus making it difficult for batsmen to read him, says B Arun, chief coach at the camp.
But is it right to model oneself on another bowler? We have seen Rajasthans Amit Mishra modelling himself on Shane Warne, and Mumbais Aavishkar Salvi on Glenn McGrath. But both failed to impress at the international level in a handful of one-dayers that they played.
It all depends on performance. If the two have not matched up to the expectations, it doesnt mean that nobody else can follow or model oneself on any player. All I can say is Mohnish has the talent to go all the way. He can vary his loop and even bowl bouncers at times, said Padmakar Shilvalkar, the spin coach at the camp, who has been following the growth of Mohnish for the past three years.
Gujarat
coach Aunshuman Gaekwad agrees. Its okay as far as modelling oneself on another player is concerned. But Mohnish has a long way to go to come even close to Muralitharan. He has to attain that perfection and consistency. He has a lot of potential. He has big turns, nice away-going deliveries. He is a very good fielder and can bat as well, said Gaekwad.
Mohnish, however, feels flattered at the comparisons. It feels good when people say I am like Murali, as I want to become like him. I have been following him right from my childhood, said Mohnish, who has been performing consistently at the junior domestic circuit.
But even before his career could take off, he had to deal with a setback. After the under-19 cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka, the International Cricket Council wrote to the Indian board to correct the action of the off-spinner. Shivlal Yadav and Erapalli Prasanna, among others, worked on Mohnish?s action at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore, first for a week and then again after three months for 12 days.
I had an open chest action, they asked me to bowl side on. I practised for three months and went back to them. There they said my action was okay. I used to have more problem while bowling the doosra. But now, its okay.
I met Harbhajan Singh recently during a Twenty20 match between Gujarat
and Punjab
. He told me not to worry about my action and keep bowling, said Mohnish."
