Does any body out there know how to go about securing a clinical attachment in Ireland .
It might be worth opening a new forum for post tras doctor as this forum only talks about tras1.
Does a clinical attachment in UK help towards securing a job in Ireland

Hi all,

I am new to this forum and a regular visitor in post PLAB forum. Yes a new forum should be introduced where post TRAS and TRAS emempted people like I am, may communicate.
Any how I was given exemption from TRAS through PLAB route in early 2006. I came back home and now thinking of taking a move to Ireland . Could any one please let me know the job situation as I know that Ireland is small country and not many big hospitals are there unlike UK.

Comments are requested

TRAS 1 peole you too

thanks

Dear colleagues,
I am waiting for the reply from the irish medical council for eligibility to sit TRAS 1. Can anyone advise me as to how to prepare for the exam. Also, please pleaaase please, can anyone send me as many past TRAS questions as possible. It is so important to have an idea . I don't know why is it so diffiult to get such questions compared to PLAB or USMLE or even Canadian or Australian medical exams. I don't understand the point why are all these questions for TRAS meant to be a secret. Thankyou for your help. My email is proudpharaoh at y-a-h-o-o dot com
