Hi all, Can anyone plz help & advice me with the information that do attempts count for residency ?
I have low score in step 1 and i failed step 2 ck , planning to retake step 2 ck soon , but am not sure if i will be able to get into the residency programme with this profile.

it does count a lot many programs have the criteria of 1st attempt only. So it's a bit discouragin but try to go on n develop a good cv with research externship in us

I completely agree. Although it's very important to clear all steps in first attempt, but in your case you can compensate by adding US Clinical experience and nice US letters of recommendation.
