In cases of High Myopia there are multiple solutions depending on pt's age and Corneal pachymetry.
If Corneal pachymetry is enough to treat with Excimer Laser it's better cz it'll preserve pt's accomodation (especially in young pt's) if the corneal thickness isn't enough here we consider either lensectomy(clear lens extraction) and impalantaion of PC IOL after A scan is done and lens power calculated but in this case the accomodation will be lost!
or the second option(which I prefer in this case)is phakic IOL impalntation cz it preserves accomodation and also can be accompanied with releasing insiciopn for astigmatism !

whats the power .

no the treatment is lensectomy for patients of high myopia and if you have the calcu;lated power of intraocular lens for which the lens is available then it will ideal to put that lens which will give support to the vitreous body decreasing traction on retina which in turn leads to less chances of retinal detachment
