hi,
i have been in search of FNB ( FELLOWSHIP ENTRANCE EXAMINATION) in Reproductive Medicine to learn IVF procedures after passing MD in G & O. this is being done under DNB board.
do anyone have some idea about when and where entrance test will be held in for next ( 2009) session.
plzzzz keep informing.

hi gunj, u can visit natboard.edu.in & searching from left corner u will be getting Fellowship NBE through information [bleep], but all has been written there is about FNB entrance test for 2008 which has occurred. the exam date for 2009 has not been announced. no sample Q paper is available. do u know anything more? plz inform.

hi pupsi....i have seen the site already... but no info abt the type of questipns is given n i dont know any1 whom i can ask.... what to read n what not is a big confusion. Also i know ki 60% is required for passing. Another thing is for critical care MD Med n MD anesthesia both are eligible...so 'll paper be same? N i hv done anesthesia so do i hv to read harrison now?

hi gunj. as per the previous yr. notice 25% MCQs wil be on Basic science, 50% on subject proper and 25% on subspeciality. so for u it may be like 50% Qs from anesthesia & 25% from critical care. But what about Basic science? is this the Anatomy , Physiology or just Medicine? for me, reproductive medicine and G&O will suffice? or again have to go through Anatomy and all. Plzzz reply. when do the form will be available?

thanks pupsi for all the info. But then MD medicine appearing for critical care will have a seperate set of paper i guess....so i cant ask people who have done MD med n have got FNB in critical care...thats sad yaar.
Forms 'll be released in december is what i know
If i know anything more, i'll post it here pupsi.

this is pupsi. sorry to disturb U. do u have any idea about pattern of MCQs to be asked in FNB entrance test? whether they will be like questions of DNB -CET or like All India PG entance. Is there any question bank?

i hv absolutely no idea if CET or fellowship hv same type of mcqs. But they r definitely not like PG enterance....but of a much higher standard. Not many get thro' the test....so i guess it must be really tough. I dont any detailed information though. Ur queries r most welcome....so dont feel u r disturbing. tk cr n keep studying. does the DNB -CET for Superspeciality includes fellowship of Reproductive medicine? does the FNB entrance and DNB -CET for Superspeciality entrance are the same?
