i have finished my clinical attachment in university science malaysia and got selected for my masters in surgery ....ill be starting my course from 1 december.well there is nothing like an exam or viva ...its a clinical assessment for 3-6 months during which your co-ordinator will forwaed a report on your performance ......if satisfactory you will be offered a seat

teaching ,working environment and resources , library are excellent.

PG is not recognised in india ....though you can work in private . PG is recognised in malaysia and else where in the world where indian PG is recognised

annual fees is about 3.5 lacks per year including food and accomodation

Hi dr.Khan,Thank u for the info..but i want to knowi f it is recognised in malaysia does tat mean u can practice in malaysia itself?And is it tat ur ug degree has to be recognised by the Malaysian Medical council before u can do the clinical attachment?Wt else requirements do they have?Can u take ur membership exams simutaneously and whether tat will have weightage in applying for job in malaysia or singapore?With this pg degree can we apply in Australia ?I actually want to do Psychiatry and i heard its easy for psychiatrist to get job in aus..is it true?Woh...i know i have asked alot of questions...i really hope u don't mind answering them.Thank u in advance...

hi all

i got a friend went there, and made a round on 2 universities.

and he was shocked after what he saw there,,

he said , one of the universities , accepted few candidates for a master program , and after a long 4 months of a placebo clinical attachmet with the high living expenses there,, they accepted all ,, except the indian doctor , according to him , he was the most qualified among all ,,,

so he never recomend there

besides the master is not recognized else where
