spinal anaesthesia if not otherwise specified generally means the anaesthesia given through lumbar puncture where an anaesthetist puts in needle,sees the csf coming out and pushes in the anaesthetic agent.we all know that csf flows in the subarachnoid space.

According to me, Its a subarachnoid. This is easy to perform and has the capacity to give outstanding operating conditions for surgery below the navel.
