Ragging is bad. A teen aged guy who enters a medical college after his 12th class, who knows little about the profession and the study regimen is already so vulnerable to bear all these. Abusing physically at this point of time does no good to him. Any physical abuse should be severely punished.

However a trend of juniors fighting with seniors against ragging will take us nowhere. It will worsen the scenario further.
