Phagocytosis is not done by
i) NK cells ii) Histiocytes iii) WBC iv) Macrophage
The ans, i think, should be i) NK cells
The NK cells destroy the target cells not by phagocytosis, but after making surface contact with the later and using perforins. They cause lysis of the target cells. This population of large lymphocytes are non antibody dependent and doesnot depend on antigen activation.
If anybody disagrees with my answer pls let me know. icon_smile.gif
