There are three exams you need to pass, OET or IElts, Amc MCQ, Amc clinical exam. You should get 4B or above in OET or 7 or above in Ielts in listening speaking writing reading once.

Hi there! Thank you for being helpful to us who have future plans of seeking a medical job in Aus. At first,i was planning to work as a GP in an AON but somehow changed my mind when I read this post of yours. Now,Im planning to take the AMC-MCQ this July to enable me to get a residency training if ever I pass. I thought at first that I should pass the AMC exam inorder to work as a GP(someone told me it isnt necessary). So what are you into now that you left your GP job? You could probably give me an idea if what med specialties are currently in need of trainees or I can go into a fellowship training since I am a graduate of Anesthesiology training in my country.TY so much. icon_biggrin.gif

Dear Doctors,
Thanks for your valuable comments on this forum.
I’m a Medical Graduate (MD) from Russia graduated in 2007. I’m in a great interest in enhancing my carrier in Australia. Could you pls. clarify me the following…

1. What are the most attractive territories in Australia for Doctors, to get settle and apply for PR easily? (out of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth & Adelaide)

2. What are the recommended Masters Course work programs for me, to apply for higher studies in Health Care, which compulsory no need of AMC to get settled?

3. Out of Masters Course Work in PUBLIC HEALTH and HEALTH SERVICE MANAGEMENT, What is the most demanded program, to have a job in Australia on completion and apply for PR?

4. Any of above 2 programs compulsorily need Australian Medical Council (AMC or Similar Authority) registration, to find a job on completion?

Pls. advice.
