1. AIIMS authorities were SO FAR repeatedly saying that they are not oncerned with the counselling...

2. Getting a rank in AIPG is NOT a guarantee for seats...... even if you get 1200, there is no guarantee for a seat (that is what they say)

3. So, unless there is some other problem, they can very well release the rank list even upto 10,000 rank.......... You CANNOT Claim a seat just because you have got a rank.

4. Most if not All states give their seats well in advance in the month of October to DGHS. There is a MCI inspection for PG Courses usually in September and the report is correlated for adding/deleting MCI recognised seats....... YOu can very well see that in the list signed by the health secretaries and displayed in DGHS for vaarious colleges (note the date of signature)

This is the reason I was saying that you may not get 50 % this year (except from staes that conduct exams irregularly.... you know the examples

of those states)

This is the reason that the SAME number of seats are INDICATED in the prospectus of few states.....

If needed AIIMS can released the ranking list for Say Rank 1600 now and they can very well release a second list !!!! from 1601 to 4000

There is some thing else that is causing a delay......

they will call more tghan the stipulated number of seats for counselling.getting a rank will never gaurantee the seat.

Why should they delay the list if they are not sure about the number of seats......

They can release the first 2000 rank

When they get news that there is more seats(if there are more) they can release rank from 2001 to 4000

If they are delaying the release of EVEN the first 2000 ranks (as scheduled) then...

1. They have not completed valuation... THis is unlikely as AIIMS has so far released the results on the correct date.

OR

2. There is a error in the valuation process (accidental or intentional) and they have found it now and are correcting it and re-evaluating all papers
eg. TNPG 2003

OR

3. They are not sure about the key......

OR

4. They are not sure what questions to value and what not to value... .... possibility... but they should have decided it on Jan 3rd week itself

OR

5. There is a legal reason for the delay..... But if it is so then they can tell that in the press release...... I think that it was mentioned lke that in 2002

OR

6. There is a REASON which can't be announced, or if announced will cause PANDEMONIUM

7) controversy of ranks to be declared because no one knows till now how many seats are there 25 or 50%

i saw AIIMS web site.when i saw result aipg . tose who scored more than 50% . all nuber starting from 430 . wht about other roll nuner stating from 413 . others. i did not understood this wht is thssssss.
any awy when will be the result ??/////////////?????????

the results which u saw on the AIIMS mnotice board are the results of nov AIIMS exam so the number s start from 430. no one exactly nknows the date of result.
