The answer is Extensive crepitations on chest auscultations. because all others are better criteria for very severe pneumonia. Children can have ectensive crepitations in moderately severe pneumonia. But what is ARI programme?

extensive crepitations. the ari programme does no use auscultative findings to classify pneumonia. it depends on RR, lower chest indrawing and very severe pneumonia on the prescence of head nodding, inability to feed, central cyanosis, etc.
