I am a Civil Service aspirant for 2008.Currently i am working for one of the software company in bangalore.My question to you is i have choosen the optionals as Psychology and Public administration, and i generally get 2-3 hours per day.Is this time is sufficient?.I am very much passion to get into IPS. Please do suggest me sir.

examination in my first attempt.i love medicine but i am hearing from many people that it willl not help in civil service examinations.i want u to guide me in selecting the optionals.is medical science suitable for both prelim and main.also if i take geography or history which i have no contact since my X standard, will the subject be easy?
i have more doubts regarding my optional selection.tell me both benefits and drawbacks related to it.is the preparation for medicine pg differ much from prelim.now iam having my freee time.what should i do now?how should i start my preparations right now.
if u show me the correct path, i wil find my way and will reach my destination.

I want to select med science and psychology as optionals.Can u tel which books to study for psychology and do u know anything about papers in med science in prelims and Mains?
Also any books u read for general studies and english?

Sir I now i am a resident working at Apollo Nodia ,Sec 26 ,,I guess you are aware where that is ,,coz i'm more than sure that you do have employed your expertise to solve a case in sec 25 ,,,that in news nowadays.
Anyways,,Sir I have made up my mind to bust IAS
in 2009,,and who esle than yourself can give some worthy advice.So writing to you.
I was always good at geography ,,i dont know about psychology though,,but i think i can choose these subjects ,,just like you did.
Though i have made some research ,,but still i am not very sure how to go about it,,in sense of studying
1) for the Preliminaries ,,what should i do? i.e what subjects and how and which books from where?
2)mains--what subjects ,,how ,which books,where?
I guess these are the elementary ones.
I know you are a busy man ,,but i also know that you know that time is limitless and you always have time for everything
