i am doing my prefinal year in tirunelveli medical college, TamilNadu .i want to top IAS examination in my first attempt.i love medicine but i am hearing from many people that it willl not help in civil service examinations.i want u to guide me in selecting the optionals.is medical science suitable for both prelim and main.also if i take geography or history which i have no contact since my X standard, will the subject be easy?

i have more doubts regarding my optional selection.tell me both benefits and drawbacks related to it.is the preparation for medicine pg differ much from prelim.now iam having my freee time.what should i do now?how should i start my preparations right now.

if u show me the correct path, i wil find my way and will reach my destination.

thank you sir.

expecting a great hand from you in lifting me to get to the highest.

Dear Sir,,I was your student at DIAMS,,and at the first intro i was sure you are an indigo child icon_smile.gif ,,So,,congratualtions for all your success in everything that you have acheived,,and no doubt you will keep doing such feats again and again .
Sir I now i am a resident working at Apollo Nodia ,Sec 26 ,,I guess you are aware where that is ,,coz i'm more than sure that you do have employed your expertise to solve a case in sec 25 ,,,that in news nowadays.
Anyways,,Sir I have made up my mind to bust IAS in 2009,,and who esle than yourself can give some worthy advice. So writing to you.
I was always good at geography ,,i dont know about psychology though,,but i think i can choose these subjects ,,just like you did.
Though i have made some research ,,but still i am not very sure how to go about it,,in sense of studying
1) for the Preliminaries ,,what should i do? i.e what subjects and how and which books from where?
2)mains--what subjects ,,how ,which books,where?
I guess these are the elementary ones.
I know you are a busy man ,,but i also know that you know that time is limitless and you always have time for everything
So please do reply whenever you get the time ,,would be of great help and appreciation from me.
Thank you Sir.
