Visa Matter,
How to get Visa?

Actually it is simplest procedure, no one should write anything about this.
But for information point of you I want to share this thing with you all.

When to Apply?
Obviously after getting date of PLAB -2,
15days before your expected date of departure.

What British consoler Demands from any traveler?
As you all know that our visa falls under visitor’s/tourists category.
We have to provide some essential things to them, these are as below…
1. Reason for visit : PLAB 2 confirmation (mind well it is most imp document)
2. Accommodation and Boarding : your shelter should be predefined before you depart ; fulfilled by Sponsorship letter
3. Financial Status : to show your economical capacity to sustain expenses at the most expensive city of world:London
4. Eligibility : PLAB -2 booking, PLAB -1 passing,IELTS passing , degree certi or marksheet of mbbs,valid passport is heart in this category

Now turning towards procedure:

Download Application Form from VFS Site.
Fill it properly, take care in the matter of Photographs, your photograph should fulfill all criteria, it should be50-50 mm sized, matt finish and white background.

Attach all original supporting documents and submit to nearest VFS centre.
Then spend 3-4 days with your loved ones without any worry.
Check VFS web site regularly to know status of your passport.
Meanwhile book your ticket with good airlines, booking is free when you get visa than confirm your tickets and pay all amounts.

With in 4 days your passport will be on your hand, enjoy man it is time for celebration but do remember friends like me, cheers.

What I observed from my experience if your financial status is sound no need for any kind of sponsorship letter from UK. I have seen many of my friends got visa without sponsorship letter.

Could anyone tell me if I can undertake part-time work on a visa for plab2 or for a clinical attachment?...if any of these might go like permit free employment or student?

Hi!
I heard from my friends who had been on PLAB visas that they were not allowed to work on that visa.
I'm not sure about the visa for clin.att & work, but I hope you can't legally work .

dear rxpg,
i want to know about the accommodation proof that we have to show them-
what exactly we have to provide regarding accommodation?
Is sponsorship letter required for accommodation proof or is it only for financial backup?
If i do not want to get a sponsorship letter then what should i show for accommodation?

Sponsorship letter is good enough for accomodation proof... cause it usually says that you will be staying with them.

If you do not wish to get a sponsorship letter from one of the PLAB coaching classes then get a letter from some one in the UK... saying that you will be staying with them.
