Anyone who has a basic medical qualification can take the MRCS part 1.
Once you have entered training in Surgery... you can take the MRCS part 2 and the MRCS part 3 (Viva & Clinicals).

For the Award of the MRCS Diploma you will need
Pass all the parts of the MRCS
Complete 24 months of Basic Surgical Training which includes atleast 6 months training in 4 different surgical specialities
Uptodate log book
ATLS provider certification
BSS course completion

Hope this helps. All the best.

Hi,
I want to appear in MRCS part 3.
Will the exam be held in Delhi in February 2008?
What is MRCS Part B? Any idea? Is it the same exam or of a different system. Can we appear in that?
