well...thats a magick the do with the softwares...various websites r out there where u can actually check ur connection speed...dataone broad band gets around 56kpbs...and down load speed about 20kpbs....

thats NOT the speed of ur net connection but only the speed of connection between ur LAN card and modem....

for checking ur bandwith goto

well i have started using reliance fibre optic network one.
it is a prepaid card and i have opted for the data transfer plan rs.1.25 per mb no other costs

speed is unbelievable 500 kbps guys
1 MB is downloaded in 13 secs odd it is cool and since i surf a lot i dont transfer much and total expense is usuallly 300-400

MTNL delhi has finally reduced the price of 256 kbps unlimited plan...........
