I wonder if the 'subpubic' bulge is an typo error in d book 4m which u'v quoted d question, which is not higly improbable.. icon_smile.gif icon_smile.gif

But i'm very sure that it is only APPARENT lengthening of cord. Our external examiner in Obs exam was from AIIMS . She ripped d students apart who considered it true lengthening or 4got to add apparent to signs!!!

Exactly my point!
Why should the cord suddenly truly lengthen outta the blue?? it cant suddenly grow!! Due to placental separation it appears as if the length of cord from the introitus suddenly lenghthens.. so its only an APPARENT lengthenin!
And Ash.. this ques is not from any book.. its from our own rxpg mock test n the ans was given as sub pubic bulge!! thats why i'm flabbergasted!!!
