I'm Javed from Mauritius,already a registered doctor and i'm very pleased to read your posts on this forum.I'm planning to pursue my Master Degree in China in either Interventional Cardiology or General Surgery in English Medium very soon and actually I'm awaiting for my JW202 visa form from Wenzhou med univ where i applied for a short term chinese language course due to start on 1st March 2007.So dear brother,I would be most pleased if u could you help me on the following issues:

1)Could you please give me somes names of universities where the above mentioned specialities are offered in English Medium?

2)The average living and accomodation expenditure monthly?

IS YOUR COLLEGE ON THE WHO LIST ????

for indian students studying medicine in china....make sure you college is mentioned on the WHO list and with foreign students eligibilty....for eg. Luzhou medical college is mentioned on the list but it does not state wheter foreign students are eligible or not....but if u see ningxia medical college on the list it does not have permission to enroll foreign students .....so beware .....
if you cant find the list of colleges recognized by WHO you can go to the WHO site and search For "Description of medical education programmes
and lists of training institutions,
by country or area"
the first one which pops up is the list ....which is in pdf format.....check it out now !!!

yes u can work in private hospitalafter doing pg in china.
