I got the info i needed about observerhsip and other things. but I have few more queries..
1. is observership at a private hospital counted in USA. my one uncle is a neurologist and another gastro in US. If i do observership at their hospital is it good. they have different hospitals with 4-5 specialist working together... what do u say?
2. What do u know about 4 weeks of Psychiatry training. is it ocmpulsory for all states? what do we need. 4 weeks during med school or 4 weeks during internship or 4 weeks of observerships??
3. I have 8 months clinical experience in India and one year internship( I m FMG in India- studied in Russia ).. does this count for residency application?
4. What are the chances of gettin into residency Int. Med. with no clinical experience and only good marks. with green card and which states will be easier?

Q. Can we work at some hospital and get paid with ECFMG certification? Or we can work without ECFMG certification?
Q. Does applying to Transitional/Preliminary year require that I should also apply to another program which requires transitional year?

hi everybody........i have got my step 1 score. its 82.. i am quite depressed with this score.....
should i continue with USMLE or drop the idea....?? as the competetion is gettign tougher , so kindly guide me through this......whether i should continue with this or drop the idea??????? i am confused , plz guide me......

1. can u get married to a US chick and get a GC?
2. Do u have 'heavy jugaad' in US to get u a residency?
3. ARE u a PG in India or have reserach papers?

If yes to one or more, u can go ahead with USMLE . If none, u can consider indian PG.
