It isvery difficult to get into Clinical Research without connection. if u have connection then I suggest u use them. If not them I suggest u apply to all hospitals nearby where u gonna stay and ask for clinical research assistant job... if they say know then ask for clinical research volunteer job and explain them that u need Letter of Recommendations.. I got Medical assistant job doing like this and yet looking for Research job.
there a good post on clinical research in prep4usmle website. check that out also... u can also apply for observership/externship and MA jobs.. u might get lucky and find something.. so keep on trying and don't giveup.. in the end u can use connections to get LOR.. okie
