Drug which block only bet1 receptor not useful in controlling tremors (refer KDT beta receptors) they only take care of trachycardia. Actually aim of beta blocker theropy is treatment of symptoms in thyrotoxicosis.

i know that the tremors to be stoped needs beta blocker which has effect on beta 2 receptors and lipophilic also (ok i agree with you) but with beta one blocker as i mention will help in the tratment of many serious symptoms of the thyrotoxicosis as palpitation and arrhythmia and tachycardia which is more dangerous on the life pateint than the tremors

I think beta blocker block block tremors that is their main advantage. There many drugs which can take care other things which will treat excess of thyroxin instead only controlling symptoms.
