THIS POST IS A REPLY BY ""ANIR"" IN ANOTHER THREAD..
FOUND IT USEFUL.......SO POSTING IT HERE
any friend who has decided to excel in keral 2007...
1.no short cuts,no capsule books
2.kerala 2007 may not be as eaazy as it was this time.prepare for an exam where u see qns on...where are fenestrations seen in kidney ?endothelium, basement membrane, mesangium etc...were the choices given(ker:2005)similarly...the normal urine volume.you know the range.but the qn has these choices 1.2,1.5,2,2.2L .any of these can be normal.but if you have read ganong, you'll know the answer.so friends...no short cuts, read standard texts.the trend now is different from what it was till 3-4 yrs back.repeated qns very few
retrospective study for harri,schwartz,bailey only
small books...each line is imp(Forensic
was the determinig sub this time i feel.i dont think its posbl to answer them just with a sarp/back referance)
ENT
...they may ask you even instruments(remember AI2005)
same holds good for ophthal.
read harri SKIN .
coaching classes need not always be helpful, but it will help u know where you stand.
the only big book u've to read from A-Z is biggest robbins.its a gold mine.don 4get that.
read CMDTeach line, stress on treatment and oncology.dont skip HIV anywhere.
most important is revision.
you'll get in 100.further journey depends on your knowledge on numerical values and rare diseases.the are usually determiners.prepare well, but be ready to face any thing.pray..pray and pray!
avoid texts 4-7 days prior to exams.read points you've jotted down.relaaaaax....gud luck to all friends for 2007 kerala!

vladimir,
i think u shud try to read harper if u have enough time bcoz there were many new questions fm biochem for this all india.
if u r not interested in reading text fully , u can back refer mcqs from either pulse or Salgunan
. that will be enough.

I think Vasudevan is a good text for studying biochem. All the things are given in a simplified manner. Most questions of all india can be read also in Vasudevan. Some friends of mine also suggested Lipincot
