PANIC ATTACK SYMPTOMS ARE:

A discreet period of intense fear or discomfort, in which 4 or more of the following symptoms develop abruptly & reach a peak within 10 mins:

-palpitations, pounding heart, fast heart rate

-sweating-trembling or shaking

-sensations of shortness of breath or smothering

-feeling of choking

-chest pain or discomfort

-nausea or abdominal distress

-feeling dizzy, unsteady, light-headed, or faint

-derealization or depersonalization

-fear of losing control or going crazy

-fear of dying

-parasthesias (numbness or tingling)

-chills or hot flushes

~~as per DSM-IV-TR

((-urge to urinate of defaecate urgently might also be seen))
