I'd suggest don't shell out so much money unnecessarily. UK LORs are considered pretty good and much much better than LOR from any Asian country. Chalega? Daudega!!! Most of d people here don't have any LOR except from India, so u r much better off. Cheer up!!
Better concentrate on ur scores if u hav yet to take steps. If not, u could try for observerships on ur own or thru ur contacts in US, rather than thru these sites.

DoCool, no need such 4 that tinge of sarcasm.
Actually what u have asked has extensively been discussed in d forums recently. Take some time and Just read thru them properly. Still I'd say, US would never become UK for docs. though d competition might increase.
Ari said time's running out, maybe cos d sooner we take our steps the lesser competition n problems we might face. If he meant anything else, he'll elaborate.
To qualify for match of 2008 u need to complete all ur steps by Dec 31, 2007.
Hope this helps

HI aSHb,
I failed CS in november and am practically out of Match for 2007. so am going for 2008..
How does a Fail score effect my application next year. i got good score in 90's in step 1 and 2CK..
Plus am looking for externship/observership in USA around Maryalnd/NJ.. apply randomly or is there any specific requirement for it??
Can I apply in scramble this year or its not allowed to appply in scramble without giving Rank order list??
Thanks for ur time man.
