it is d, we will do hbv dna by pcr and then posibbly start the medication if the patient is fit for it. i know this for a fact that i have been working in a liver clinic of my hospital and this have been our protocol.

but don' u do HBe ag first b4 going for hbv dna , simply bcoz dna pcr is more expensive and the question says NEXT best test

when they say next best they mean after the hepattitis profile that you performed with which you came to know that the person has hbs antigen positive the next test should be?
