Same quandry as you doc praveen!!
The problem is doing DNB
- if you do it you are equal to an md!!
But how safe and practical is it to think of DNB
now??! It seems to involve lots of money/ contacts!!
let me know if you get new info
All the best

hi!!
If getting into DNB
is not a problem then i think we shdnt worry about pass percentage - I mean how long can they keep failing deserving candidates?! But are you sure that there are enough quality DNB
seats to go around on merit??! I heard it was very difficult to get into DNB
's??!
Thanks for reply and all the best for counselling

NO DEAR I WILL TELL AGAIN THERE ARE MANY DNB
SEATS WHICH ARE RESERVED FOR DIPLOMA CANDIDATES, AND IF NO DIPLOMA CANDIDATE APPLIES FOR THAT THEN IT REMAINS VACANT!!!
NOW I CANT ASSURE U OF QUALITY...BCZ MANY PVT HOSPITALS N PUBLIC SECTOR UNDERTALIKGS ARE THERE WHICH ARE BASICALLY NON-ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS...SO U MAY NOT GET THE ACADEMICS IN ALL THESE SO U WILL VE TO DEPEND A LOT ON WHAT U WRE TAUGHT IN DMRD COURSE.....
I FEEL WE CAN OPT FOR IT......

hi all, i found this thread intresting, i'm doing my DNB
in radio in coimbatore, i'm a primary candidate, let me tell u that personally i think a dmrd is not a good option IF u want to do a DNB
later, if u do not then its ok, however in DNB
if ur a primary candidate the pass rate is much higher. as for the seats, i got in by pure merit, not one rupee paid as "fees". passing may be tough but its not impossible, i mean we used to think that mbbs was not possible to pass right? and we all made it safe and sound! right? so we can make it thru this as well. hope this helps. ciao folks.

HI RAMSH!!!
IF THE SEAT IS NOT RECOGNISED BY MCI THEN U WILL VE TO GO 3 YRS TRAINING IN DNB
..AND THAT MEANS UR DMRD WONT BE BENEFICIAL..BUT ON THE WHOLE U WILL BE GOING FOR 5YRS TRAINING IN RADIOLOGY( 2YRS OF DMRD+3YRS OF DNB
) SO UR CHANCE OF PASSING WILL GO HIGH...U WILL BE CONSIDERED AS PRIMARY CET CANDIDATE....
