hi can anybody here explain to me one thing,ever since i have opted for Psychiatry i've heard even from the psychiatrists n neurosurgeons that there are lots of chances of going abroad,rather many frm kgmc etc are actually abroad,i wanna know what's the route they must be following is it simply USMLE or PLAB system or anything else,does anything like placements in residency or so takes place,when md ms of india is not recognised what does all this mean.(i already know that it's easy to get psy residency via USMLE ,i'm asking whther anything else).

1.Synopsis by Kaplan Saddock
2.Symptoms of the mind - andrew sims
3.Oxford short textbuk (gud buk bt nt very popular fr whtevr reasons)
4.The holy grail- i.e. Comprehensive textbook of Psychiatry -Kaplan sadock

as fr going abroad ya tht is the most enticing thing bout Psy tht u always hv the option of migrating
fr US u hv to give MLE n the usual route
As fr others u cann directly migrate to Aus ,UK ,Mideast without ne exams
