The methdology of reading mbbs is different. You cannot rely on only one book any more. Have one book as main and other as refrence. There are many things which are not given in a single book. You cannot afford to miss them by not reffering to other books. So read the main book first thouroughly and then refer other books and in case you find anything new then jot down in notebook. You neednot make notes of your main book.At the end of the year u will have a good amount of data in your main book and extra point from other books. I am not asking to make every book in market as your reference but atleast the most read ones.
Anatomy - Snell clinical Anatomy
Physiology - ganong is a must read but things will be more clear if u read Biochemistry as well
Biochemistry -harer
For mcq i would suggest Salgunan
