hi friends....anybody having problems with the mental aspect of preparing for PG, i recommend you to take out some time and read " monk who sold his ferrari"  . its a small book, but believe me, it solves half your problem.

u know the best way of doing any job, take it......
SURRENDER URSELF TO THE ALMIGHTY OR GOD OR THE HIGHER POWER THAT RUNS THE UNIVERSE WHICH NO ONE CAN DENY THEN,,,
DO YOUR DUTY WITHOUT THINKING A BIT ABOUT THE RESULTS, JUST DO THE BEST IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY,, AND....
LEAVE THE RESULTS TO GOD ITS SURE YOU ARE GOING TO GET WHAT YOU DESERVE.. BELIEVE ...IT WORKS...

hi dr do2much,
i jst read ur entire thread......its gr8 and really inspiring  ...
This is my second yr of prep for AIPG...last yr i studied only 5 months..cos of my job. But this whole yr i am dedicating for my prep. Reading thro ur thread....i felt good. Life eventually becomes..of what we imagine. Lets work hard for our goal..keep going...BELIEVE IN ALMIGHTY...and success in ours for sure.
Keep the good work going.....and plz dont stop the thread...
ALL THE BEST for ur future....May Lord Almighty give u ONLY THE BEST

hey!thanks for appreciating my thread... cos i unable to write for it...cos ii dint ive not had my pc or the net for a long time!i was posted in a village in medicine and obg n was quite busy!now im back n can posst again...
well to b honest,im plagued with self doubts myself rite now.im moving to delhi in april to join IAMS,i'll have my mom with me,but i know no one in delhi,no one,n though i was born there,ispiring ub've never lived there.n i dont know how.ive lived in a tiny tiny village,manipal,for 5 yrs n before that outside.i so scared i cant explain.n no one seems to b understanding!!the whole change is freakin me out!thought it was my own choice!
im scared of so much!mostly of not makin it thru the all india.now i need some encouragement.im abt to start reading n theres soo much i dont know n others do n i dont wanna look stupid!!ill b missing the initial classes too so im worried.if someone can help me out,thatd b a nice change.
oh yes..and some more inspiring buks : mind power by john kehoe , conversations with god by neale donlad walsch.rememerb u have to believe what the books say...then ull b successful.

hey dear,know what.. I started studyin from aug last year n got a decent rank in my state pg and during those 5 months of study when all my friends fretted bout how much others were studying and how well they were doin in mock tests n i strugglin to b in 500 ranks, i kept sayin to myself...LET THEM WIN THE BATTLES, I WILL WIN THE WAR..Dont be judgemental bout urself..give urself time to build up concepts on the topic and also confidence..u will never feel u've studied enough for the exam..As far goin to a new city is concerned,its nothin different than changing postings from say med to gyn..initially the amniotic fluid smell is unbearable but u eventually get used to it..always look at the larger picture--u've come to delhi to work better for ur entrance exam and all other things lik adjustin to the place,makin friends etc are secondary..be focussed..take care..my best wishes with you..god bless you..

Sorry..wAS off from net for few days. Read ur reply..u look down. You hav been posiitve all thro thenwhats stoping u to continue to B POSITIVE.
Leave those books...and get down to work. you hav hardly any days left for ur mext AIPG exam. Countdown has already began. We hav NO TIME to think other things...such as people or place. Its good thet you hav shifted to Delhi for studies. Classes r just means to keep one on the road to plan...and u hav to keep walking. Missing on few classes dont make u backlog. As far as food and basic essentials r concern..mom will defi tak care of them.
You hav to just conc onstudies...n nothing else...Plan urself n study and stick to ur plan...Dont see what others are doing..make ur plan, find ur weakness..work towards them and build urself. Slow n steady work...each day at a time...brings success. success is never acheived in one flight. U hav May AIIMS exam coming...then nov..then AIPG 08....make a plan and stick to it.
If u feel down attimes...meditate...and help ur mom. Things will all fall in place. Trust urself. Remem..within you is a PART of SUPREME LORD ALMIGHTY...u hav to trust HIM. If u work hardly daily...tak each step at time...HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN...how cn HE....when U R a PART of HIM. We all r connected to each other...and then also TO SUPREME LORD...its when we loose touch to our innerself...we start doubting our abilities. I myself am in 2nd yr of preperation for AIPG...as told earlier...life is not only this exam....its a big game. BUT WE WONT WIN>>> if WE WONT PLAY....so start playing.....As BIRYANI said...Let them win the battle...we will win the WAR. TC. Dont stop writing on rxpg...its a good vent for you and all of us....keep going....LETS ROCK....LETS DO IT!!!!!!!!
