Hi every body! icon_smile.gif I need some urgent help for Australia plz! I happened to apply for the post of Medical Officer online from India (that’s where I am from) in Australia (RMO) in the month of May. Now they have mailed me & suddenly want to conduct a telephonic interview tomorrow! icon_surprised.gif I do not know anything abt the interview- the questions, what do they expect & the does & do nots. I am looking forward for anybody who have an idea or who have attended these type of interviews! PLZ help!

their interviews are not that diificult
they usually ask few clinical emergencies relating to post or even just ask whether u have handled such emergencies
then they ask ur work experiencce and current duties, what u ve been doing
the patient turn over , ur duites, abt the hospital, its facilities and things like that

I finished MD in General medicine from India in 2003. Can i apply for RMO post or GP ??

Thanks hardcoremallu! icon_biggrin.gif it was really a cool interview with most of the time spend on casual things, nothing abt any subject or case scenarios were discussed. But i do not know abt the result of that, they said that they do have a lot of overseas applicants & will screen others too & let me know! I am keeping my fingers crossed at the one & only interview i have got after appling online for n no. of jobs till now! icon_lol.gif thanks once again!

Hello bins icon_razz.gif so u r also following suit soo soon! one of my frnd have attended a similar interview for a GP & got selected! the questions were casual abt ur plans in aus, some case scenarios abt diabetes, depression & dyspnoea! hope that hepls a bit! all the best for u too! icon_wink.gif
