my admin was thru KCET so joined 2 months late
wen i joind physio blood nerve muscle n half respi were done
anat upper limb nd lower linb wer done
biochem all the chemistry nd protein metabolism wer done
wen i joind the MAHE admn guys were havin their 1st sessionals nd our 1st session was in dec so missed half of enocrine n cvs in physio, thorax n head&neck in ant nd carb nd lipid metabolism in bio..
soon aftr hols was 2nd session in jan...so i never really got regular wit the class tried my best readin guyton then shambu for physio
BDCof anat... satyanarayana for biochem but ultimately ended up readin just
anat- BDC (only question bank Q&A)
biochem-USA (its a Q&A book by one or our profs)
physio- manipal manual of physio(ITS A BOOK FOR NURSING)
nd actually managed to pass 1st yr wit 69% overall
now how do u suggest i mak up 4the 1st yr mess & be regular wit class both at the same time

hi,
i'm 2nd yrite now,i have read BDC [& a small portion of Gray's student edition,i had planned to read it after my 1st yr exams] ,Guyton & Ganong, Satyanarayan & Lipinn. in first yr,i'm nearly through with 1st yr MCQs from pulse having solved them once
i'm really serious abt making it in the PG entrance,plz suggest the books for me...........

I always like to study from 2 books,1 from an Indian author and the other from a foreign author,tell me what do u think of these??

Pharmac:Goodman & Gilman,KDT
Micro:Ananthnarayan & Jawetz.....

I also wanted to start Harrison,but i don know when the new edition will be arriving,may be in Dec-2007 or Jan 2008,tell me shuld i go for it or wait for the new edition?

Also tell me if there are any ccompetitions,research opprtunities or anything to be pursued in 2nd yr...........
