Can anybody help me out with this with ur experience..
I have almost finished studying the theory materials for Step 2CK and my exams are 2 months due. I am planning to subscribe for online Qbank. how is the USMLE World Qbank.. Does anybody have experience with USMLE World Qbank???
Can anyone answer me this question..
And also How is the book called STEP UP for USMLE Step 2CK..??

Thanks a lot tinkerbell u r life saver..
I guess u could help me in one more matter about the match.. i m applying to this years match. and have trouble preparing the LoR..
There is one Coversheet which i have to attach, do u think that coversheet is all that important.. it identifies me and Waives my right to view the LoR written by any professor..
What do u think...
Plus is there nay special format for LoR.. If yes can u explain me one. Thanks a lot.

Probably best to approach physicians with whom you have had the most contact, so that they too,have been able to observe you and your work habits, etc. Then, ask for a brief meeting so you can briefly explain that you will be applying for residency, are now studying for the USMLE , and would appreciate a letter from them. LORs should be on official stationary of the institution, dated, and addressed Dear Program Director (no names). Then, body of letter should comment on job skills, attitude, work habits, ability to communicate well with staff, patients, etc. Hope this helps.

I guess i got everything in except the.. official stationary of the Institute.. Is it important to have it on the official Stationary(Letter head).. Can't i just have it a plain paper with name, designation, date and address of the Professor who will b writing my letter..

the lor has to be on the letterhead of the institute.

one more thing.. hey can I write about my plan to join Interventional Cardiology or GI for fellowship, or its not good for the program which don't have them?
And if i am intrested in teaching the interns and Med. school student. should i write this down also??

including your fellowship plans is considered to be dicey...while some programs like the applicants to be frank about their future plans , it may discourage some other programs to invite you....especially if they dont have the said fellwships.

the site is ok i heard....doesnt guarantee a match...but someone who enrolled for their services suggested that it saves you the trouble for scouting around and looking for good programs...also you dont end up spending your money on worthless programs.....in a nut-shell, sites like these are said to save time and money.
im not sure though , if they are worth the moolah you spent on them
