can any one tell what is meant by MINUS Type of school furniture...pg 426 park
i dont know the answer exactly but, school furniture is of three types- plus, minus and neutral. it is based on the position of writing bench.
if that bench is nearer to the sitting bench it is of minus type!!
if both the benches are at same level( edges of both lie in same line)
it is of neutral type
if the writing bench is far 4m the sitting one it is of plus type
for primary school children it is advised to have minus type to prevent their back form bending!!
