If you have doubts about the choice for DM .... join somewhere as a non-DM senior resident. You will get to know the type of issues inherent with that field. Plus, the DM students will also guide you with the prep for entrance exams....

i think DM cardio . The rate at which cardio cases are increasing , you're sure to be set in life ! just doing an angio costs a bomb ! Also you get to deal with related diseases like DM or HBP - all of which are chronic . No such options in Neuro where pts mostly mental ones love to flock . Another good alternative is Nephro ! But cardio sure rocks . A lot more job satisfaction , saving lives !
