Quick Scroll Tips: How to Read and Retain from Robbin's Pathology ! 12.04.06 (1 year ago) #1

Hi guys.

Here is a easy way to make reading father robbins fun n retaining things easily n for a long time....

its a proven fact that pictures make a better impresssion n are easy to retain. so apply the same here.

there r loads of good pictures-- both histo n gross in Robbins

but they rn't well labelled or if labelled its by a,b,c n the theory part of it is given below the picture.

so read the text once n then just take a pencil or a pen n label as many things u read as possible by the side of the pictures itself pointing the feature labelled with an arrow.

if u can do this properly believe me....u will never have to read the text again.

n if u revise the labelled pictures in every topic once or twice u will retain it really long....icon_smile.gif

i m very confident that this will surely help u people for if it helped me it can help anybody icon_smile.gif

just try this technique out n let me know it its benefiting u anyways.

u can share ur methods too....

bye

ok, here's one more tip for u guys.... icon_smile.gif

though the SARP books have lost its craze after the advent of so many mcq books in the market.........

DO TRY OUT THE....S.A.R.P. TUMORS---ITS A REALLY NICE BOOK N WILL HELP PEOPLE A LOT, NOW IN PATHO N LATER IN MED....

it provides u with all the high yield facts about tumors( that form the major junk of patho n med) n also provides very useful---chemotherapy of tumors(will help solve many pharmac Qs)

hope this will help again

HEY THANKS ROCK FOR UR TIPS..

I'M SURE JUNIORS WILL BENIFIT FROM IT...ANY SPECIAL REASON TO CALL THEM YELLOW PAGES... icon_rolleyes.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

KEEP POSTING MORE OF THEN FOR KNOWLEDGE ALWAYS INCREASES ON SHARING.....

BELIEVE ME....I WAS ONE OF THE MOST SELFISH-- N WHATEVER U MIGHT SAY--KIND OF STUDENT UNTIL I ONCE, JUST FEW YRS BACK TRIED N STARTED SHARING SECRETS RELATED TO STUDIES....FOR THEN ONLY I REALISED HOW FOOOOOLISH I WAS TRYING TO PROTECT SOME HANDFUL OF SECRETS OF WHAT THEN I USED TO THINK WAS MY OWN KNOWLEDGE N CLOSING DOOR TO THIS HUUUGE WORLD FULLLLL OF SO MANY MANY THINGS TO LEARN.. N HOW TRUE IS THE OLD SAYING----KNOWLEDGE INCREASES MANY FOLDS ON SHARING

SO DO POST ANYTHING NEW IN THE WORLD OF ----HOW TO STUDY---OUT HERE ......

alright.....since no one is further responding.....

let me myself do the the favour

here's another TIP for u guys:

THE TIP IS AGAIN A VERY SIMPLE ONE BUT BELIEVE ME ....ITS VERY EFFECTIVE...
IT WILL BE OF GREATER USE AFTER U KNOW A BIT OR MAY BE MORE THAN THAT OF A PARTICULAR CHAPTER.....

IT IS THAT THE MOST MOST IMPORTANT PART OF ANY BOOK IS ITS "INDEX".....ISN'T IT......

JUST TAKE A BOOK OF A SUBJECT U HAVE ALREDY STUDIED N GO THROUGH THE INDEX PAGES....

U WILL FIND SOOO MANY OF THE MCQ QS STARING AT U...

THE BIGGER N MORE VOLUMNIOUS THE BOOK THE MORE USEFUL THE INDEX.....

HOPE THIS HELPS THOSE WHO R INTERESTED N DIDN'T ALREADY KNOW THIS icon_smile.gif icon_smile.gif
