U can go for research in any subject-- Preclinical n clinical under the ICMR... in any year of UG.. The preference totally depends on ur field of interest for all subjects have the same value out here...

The forms come out around september.. And u need to have a teacher --- as ur guide...

As far as I know... Its a feather that one can add to one's hat.... Alone, its not of some great value but surely its a credit and its gives some kind of exposure to research work as in how to n what all to do.... for someday or the other u may or would like to write papers , right.

Try going through the TABLES... They are very high yielding when it comes to PG entrance or university.

But I feel Harrison is good only as a reference book to clarify stuff not available elsewhere.. Didn't do much of it myself.. So guess,not the right person to guide.
