im a green card holder
adn also interested in IM
well wat scroe wd be good for me
asl olet me knw wat shd i plan to give USMLE
im giving STEP 2 CK first in august
wen shd i givestep 1 and so on..
till wat date i shd be ready for 2008 match

anything above 85 will be good.. best above 90.
Register for step2 cs after ck if you havent taken it already.
step1 should follow suit.. your deadline should be jan end.

Register early for step2 cs. take a date in first / second week of september.

hi there... well tinker bell u say i shd complete it all by january end to be applicable for this year but for carbamazepine u said to complete by august 2007...can i knw why??
is it bcoz of green card ownership of mine..
i too have not aplled for any step but goign to do in two days takign august date for step 2. ck..
i wanan do residency there in 2008.. is it possible or not..
do let me knw sooon

try to get as much as you can..
judging by the amount of time in your hand, i would suggest you try to get step1 and 2 ck results in hand by september. step2 cs result takes time to be declared.

your timeline and situation is different from others.
you mentioned that you are planning to take step1 in august...which means it is unlikely that you`ll rush with your steps and finish everything by september.
the sooner you get your results, the better it is... for it increases your chances of being called for the interview.
also as a green card holder, you may get preference over other fmg with the same scores.
