NOTIFICATION : PGMAT 2007

Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board invites application from eligible candidates for appearing in the Post -Graduate Medical Admission Test -2007 for admission to the 1 st year of Post - Graduate

Degree / Diploma courses for academic session 2007.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1) RESIDENTIAL - must be resident / local resident of Jharkhand .
2)EDUCATIONAL
A) must have passed M.B.B.S/B.D.S from any medical college of Jharkhand State or those who have got admission in Bihar Medical College before creation of JharkhandState and has passed MBBS/BDS Courses.

b)Must have completed one year rotatory internship or likely to be completed by 31 st March 2007.

The Prospectus cum Application form can be obtained from the following Branches of Post Offices on cash

payment of Rs. 1100/- Gen /OBC Candidate .( Rs. 800 /- for ST/SC candidates) with additional amount of Rs.35 as Post Office fee.

1. R.M.C.H. Post office , RIMS Colony, Ranchi.
2. R.M.C.C. Post office, R.I.M.S Campus , Ranchi
3. B.C..C.L. Township Post office, Dhanbad.
4. M.G.M Post office, Jamshedpur.

The price of Prospectus-cum- application form includes the Examination fees. The Prospectus cum Application form can be obtained from 29 the January 2007 till 15 th Feb 2007. during working hours.

Last date for submitting of application form is 19 th Feb 2007.

No Information Brochure- cum-Application form will be send through Registered Post or Courier.

Application form can also be downloaded from website :http://www.jharkhandonline.gov.in and filled up form can be submitted with demand drafr of Rs. 1100/- in case of Gen /OBC Candidate .( Rs. 800 /- for ST/SC candidates) in favour of "Controller of Examination " JCECEB payable at Ranchi and photocopyof required certificates.

A new book by Dr. Rajnish Mishra is availalbe , it contains previous years questions of PGMAT [2006 to 2003] and Bihar pg , with small explainations.

The explainations are...OK....not very nice..

buy the book atleast , u can go thru the questions asked in the previous 4 yrs or so..
